
Back in the day, it didn't need to be a special occasion to enjoy a plate of oysters with a pint of stout by the sea. We're keeping the dockyard spirit alive by serving you simple, fresh shellfish, craft beer - brewed onsite - and wine in a relaxed environment, any day of the week.

In 2016, we became a freehouse. So now we can offer you an even wider range of beers both on tap and in bottles. And in 2018, we installed a little brewery in our basement so we have our own brews (Larrikin) on tap as standard.

On Mondays and Tuesdays, our kitchen takes a rest so it's a good day for events. If you would like to hold one, please contact us.

Menus
We have two core menus: Regulars and Specials.

The Regular Menu is where you'll find our signature dishes. Consistent and simple.
Our Specials change more often. This is where our Chef gets creative.

Reservations
For dining, book a table here.

We always have a few "walk-in" tables available on a first come first served basis too. So even if the calendar is showing fully booked, you may well find a table if you just rock up.

There's no need to book a table for drinks.
Beer
We love beer. Nick loves it so much he started brewing his own. In August 2018 we installed a micro-brewery in the basement so now you will always find our own beer (Larrikin) on tap.
Just like our food menus we have beers that are on regularly, and a wide range of continually updating craft beers.


Wine

Our good friend and wine expert, Harry, has looked after our wine list in recent years.

Our regular list focuses on wines that match well with our shellfish. We also offer a changing specials list, most recently featuring whites from Mediterranean coastal areas.
